In A&P's 2015 bankruptcy, The Food Emporium brand was acquired by Key Food Stores Co-Operative, a New Jersey-based cooperative of independent supermarkets. They also bought four of the A&P-owned locations, which temporarily operated as Marketplace Emporium during the transition.
